Do I need a Blue Light Card to get the discount?

No. We don't require a Blue Light Card or any other proof of employment. We operate on trust — if you serve in an emergency service or the armed forces, enter code BLUELIGHT10 at checkout and the 10% applies automatically.

Who is eligible for the blue light discount?

Police, fire service, ambulance service, NHS, paramedics, British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines, RAF, Coastguard, prison service, Border Force, mountain rescue, and RNLI volunteers. If you serve the public in an emergency or protective capacity, the discount is for you.

How much is the discount worth?

10% off your SIM purchase. Our plans start from £7/month — that's £6.30/month with your discount. On the most popular 30GB plan at £15/month, you'd pay £13.50. Over a year, that's a saving of £18.

Can I get a SIM for a family member?

Yes. You can manage multiple SIMs from one account at my.helloiq.uk. The blue light discount applies to your purchase — you can choose the right plan for each family member, all managed centrally.

Can I use an eSIM?

If your phone supports eSIM (most iPhones from XS onwards, and many modern Android phones), yes. An eSIM activates instantly via QR code — no need to wait for delivery. Check your phone settings under Mobile Data or SIM Management.

What if I'm deployed overseas?

Our plans are monthly rolling — you can cancel any time with no fee. If you're deployed, simply cancel before your next billing date. When you return, order a new SIM and activate at the same rate. We'll also honour the blue light discount on your return.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Every IQ Mobile plan is rolling monthly — no annual commitment, no exit fee. Change, upgrade, or cancel at any time from your account at my.helloiq.uk.
