Common questions
What's the difference between the customer referral scheme and becoming a dealer?
The customer referral scheme (on our main /refer page) is for existing IQ Mobile customers who want to share the love and get a small £5 reward for friends and family. The dealer programme is a formal commercial arrangement for people with a genuine following who want to build a recurring income stream referring customers at scale — the two run alongside each other, and a dealer can also be a customer referring casually on top.
What actually counts as a "paying customer" for commission?
Someone who signs up via your link, activates their SIM, and pays for at least one live billing period. Signups, clicks and activations on their own don't trigger commission — the customer has to actually be paying us.
Do I keep earning commission every month, or is it a one-off?
It's recurring — commission continues for as long as the customer you referred stays active and pays. That's the whole point: a genuine side-income stream, not a single bounty payment.
How strict is the application process, really?
Strict enough that it isn't instant. We look at who you are, the audience or contacts you're bringing, and how you intend to refer people, before agreeing terms. This protects the programme — and your commission — from being diluted by low-quality traffic.
Can my commission be stopped or clawed back?
Yes, under the written terms we share once you're approved — this covers things like a referred customer cancelling early, fraudulent or synthetic sign-ups, or a dealer breaching the terms. It exists to keep the programme fair for genuine dealers, not to catch people out.
Is there a minimum audience size to apply?
There's no fixed number — we're looking for a genuine, real audience or contact base relevant to mobile/SIM products, not a specific follower count. Tell us about it in the application and we'll assess it from there.
How and when do I get paid?
Confirmed commission is invoiced monthly — full detail on rates and payment timing is part of the written terms we send once your application is approved.
